Page Snapshots
Freeze a page as it is today — full fidelity or a clean read-only extract — and keep annotating on top of it.
Why snapshots
Pages change: articles get edited, prices move, pages disappear. A snapshot preserves the page as it is right now, so your annotations keep their context forever — and keep working even if the original is gone.
Taking a snapshot

Open the menu
On any page (or document), open the control panel's More (⋯) menu → Save snapshot.

Choose fidelity
Lite snapshot extracts the page's main content into a clean, small article. Full snapshot preserves the complete page — DOM and styling — staying as close to what you see as possible.

Keep working
The snapshot opens as its own page. Annotate it like any page; the annotations belong to the snapshot, not to the live site.
Managing snapshots
- Snapshots live in the Annotation Manager with their own badges; each source page lists its snapshots via the 📷 button.
- Snapshots can be renamed and deleted (deletion also removes them from other synced devices).
- Snapshot size limits depend on your plan; very large pages may be truncated, with a notice shown.
Snapshots of documents can be shared with others; snapshots of ordinary web pages are for your own archive. A snapshot is an independent copy — it does not update the original page, and changes to the original never leak into the snapshot.
